Driving assessments are an honest, objective assessment of your driving. The assessment has been developed to identify your strengths and weaknesses behind the wheel and to help increase your confidence on today's busy roads. This is not a test, so you should not feel under pressure. Our assessors are here to help.
This is aimed at all drivers who do not want to take a test but would like constructive feedback about their driving. Below is a breakdown of some of the drivers it could benefit:
Newly Qualified Drivers
Any driver who has recently passed their test and want to put themselves, parents and friends minds at rest that they are a capable driver.
Inexperienced Drivers and Change of Circumstances
Any driver who has passed their test some time ago and have little experience on the roads. This will help drivers whose circumstances have changed and now need to drive more often.
Older Drivers
Any driver who has been driving for many years and want that reassurance that they are still capable behind the wheel. Our assessors will give you their honest opinion. We assess your driving skills and do not assess your fitness to drive. That is a matter for your GP and the DVLA or NDLS.
Any Other Drivers
Anyone who wants some reassurance of their driving abilities.
On the day
The assessment will last for approximately one hour. It will take place in your own vehicle and chosen location. The assessment will be conducted by an experienced TFD Training assessor, who will contact you to arrange a date and location. We have assessors all around Ireland.
